This 6-day intensive Masterclass provides actors with a rare opportunity to deeply explore the world-renowned Lee Strasberg Method™, studying directly within the authentic lineage of Lee Strasberg’s legendary technique with Rachel Bailit.

Expect to walk away with a highly practical acting process rooted in the core principles of The Method™. We bridge the gap between technical exercise and performance, guiding you to apply sensory tools, Animal Work and character exploration directly to monologues and scenes.

Whether on a film set or a theatre stage, you will develop a repeatable process for creating physically grounded and emotionally authentic performances.

DAYS 1–3

Building Your Foundational Technique, Concentration & Senses

What actors will achieve:
You will establish a deep foundation of physical relaxation and mental focus, training your instrument to respond with authenticity to imaginary circumstances.

Grasp the core philosophy and lineage of Strasberg’s legendary technique to anchor your artistic experience.

• Relaxation & Sensory Exercise
Every session opens with Lee Strasberg’s signature relaxation, paired with sensory exercises to heighten concentration and stretch the imagination.

• Progressive Sensory Exercises
Develop deep concentration through guided exercises and expand your physical and emotional responsiveness.

• Initial Textual Work
Apply concentration and sensory work directly to monologues and scenes.

• Continuous Guidance
Daily group discussions, Q&A sessions and personalized feedback.

DAYS 4–6

Mastering Character Truth, Emotional Depth & Scene Integration

What actors will achieve:
You will apply technical exercises directly to your scene work, connecting to the character’s inner life for truthful performances.

• Relaxation & Sensory Exercise
Continue the signature relaxation and sensory practice while expanding access to emotional memory.

• Advanced Space & Sensory Application
Build entire living environments from memory through Sense Memory (Place).

• Animal Work
Deepen your character creation by studying and embodying animal traits and behaviors.

• Character Exploration & Monologues
Strengthen your personal connection to the character while exploring psychology, emotional life and given circumstances.

• Scene Work & Sensory Application
Apply Strasberg’s Method directly to partner scenes.

Rachel Bailit

Rachel Bailit is an accomplished alumna and esteemed faculty member at the world-renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. With a career dedicated to the preservation and evolution of The Method™, she brings an authentic, direct-lineage approach to her Method Acting training.
